MVRDV_New park fence
Fence developed for the Dutch architecture office MVRDV for a housing project in Ireland. The fence is based on a standard park fence that has interactive elements integrated into it. The fence has elements of a private home interior and playground integrated directly into the fence. These elements invite activities to happen around the fence, creating a more inclusive friendly atmosphere. So while the fence still maintains its function as barrier, people can enjoy the fence as a place where they can relax and play.
