droog design installation
Wonhee from Studio GORM designed the installation for an exhibition ‘A Human Touch’ for Droog Desgin, the Netherlands.
‘A Human Touch’ is the travelling exhibition of Droog Design. Over fifty products by fourty designers were presented from the Droog collection, which focuses on ‘the human being’. They emphasize the emotional factors that play a role in the relationship between man and products. Custom made wire frame fences which represent a private home. Each fence has different units according to the room’s identity and the Droog products exhibited. Visitors will pass from garden to entrance fences, livingroom to bedroom and bathroom, finally pathway leads visitors from the dinning room back to entrance. And the exploring finishes just like visiting a neighbor’s house, the audience will travel around the fences. The installation gives a better Understanding of how the products can be used and interacted with in our daily life.
